Report: Russia needs 3–6 months to rebuild logistics chains

PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, Mar 28 (PRIME) -- Russia will need three to six months to rebuild logistics in the industries, the supplies will be focused on interested countries, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said in an interview with Rossiya 1 television channel on March 27.

“The logistics will reorganize. We need three, or the maximum of six months, for various industries and directions to refocus our supply channels to the states that are ready. That buy and sell goods to us,” he said.

Manturov said that Russia has inventories of the components necessary to service its Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) planes during “significant time.”

Russia will be able to organize production of necessary medicines if foreign companies stop the supplies, the minister also said.

Healthcare Minister Mikhail Murashko said separately that Russia has enough plants to manufacture medical products from titanium and other materials.
